A view that became common place during the trip, but one that needed recording for posterity. The flies, bugs and wiper marks from the drive to Bulgaria will remain in my mind for a long while……
Now when I saw this shot in my mind sat next to DJN I realized that it would only be a matter of time before he interprets this scene himself and pulls out the big guns to record it. So not wanting to be someone who lets anyone upstage me, I decided to grab a chance frame or two as we passed by. I had plenty of opportunities during the week as this slip road to town, and the Beer factory / Brewery were landmarks for our early navigation attempts in BG. For a through the window frame, and including the screen detritus I was quite happy with it. Thanks for stopping by …… csj

beautiful composition…love the color and texture!
Good job! There’s something about the combination of the yellow hues and the sky, viewed through the dirty glass 🙂
Btw bugs on the windscreen look cool — characteristic of a long travel 😉
Good perspective.. Thanx for sharing..
Well at first glance, before reading, I thought this was a textured overlay and I guess it is but a real one. Driving for four days just to get this effect is a bit drastic though! 😉 Nice one, I like this a lot.
Stunning image and the building looks fantastic. Great looking sky too.
Spectacular, detail is awesome, sky so dramatic. Love it. 🙂
The flies and wiper marks almost look like a post-processing effect 😉

Very nicely done, and I’m going to leave this scene well alone, at least until everyone has forgotten your version – I can’t see how I could better this one 🙂
Great. I love the ‘boldness’ to take a picture through a moving, dirty car wind screen, which turned out to only add a valuable effect to the photo. Very well done.
Cheers.
