how I use categories on id7 All the entries on id7 are placed into one of seven primary categories: six to reflect the aspect ratio of the image, and the seventh to indicate that an image isn’t available as a print. Additionally, each photograph may be assigned to one or more additional categories or subcategories, e.g. my HDR category, self-portrait category, children category, and so on.

Winner of SeeitSunday Entry - Theme 'Digital'

Why do any companies that sell you a service (Wessex Water) think they can blanket pull the wool over our eyes. For example, we are currently endeavouring not to upset our neighbours. All we are having is a new water main connected to supply sprinklers in our property which facilitates the council regulations on third floor loft conversions. Sounds simple.

PAH!!!

Its not. The company that "fitted" the sprinklers, I use "fitted" liberally, won't finish their connection until the Water Board have done their bit. The Water Board refuse to connect the pipe until the sprinkler company have done theirs. The end result "NO JOB DONE". We are in a quandry. On top of the 1350quid spent on trying to get connected to water I have paid 1050quid to sprinkler company, and again on top of that another 80quid for a brown box ( I have no idea what its for) 33quid on water pipe, and 24quid on a valve to go on the end of 'said pipe'. Then I have to dig a trench to put the pipe in, which HAS TO BE at 75CM below the ground level, which in turn is 50CM below any other water pipe on our street???, it has to run from our property to the public highway..... WAHHHH!

Then they have the cheek to cancel on us four times claiming not to have enough of the street to allow them to dig up. (What does that mean?) then on the fourth visit tell us that they cant connect the pipe because of the brown box (!!!) and make every excuse under the sun.

I'm just a laymen, a simple member of the public... not a plumber, not a sprinkler fitter, and not a road blummin digger. What do I know about this.... in a word NOTHING!.... should I have to know for the amount I've paid??, whats the interest on that amount over 1.5yrs, should I go for compensation??? let me know...RANT OVER.......phew sorry about that, but that feels better.

The photo is a desaturated, blue curved, shot of a service box, on the edge of our lovely Poole Park, which was nested in the Autumnal forestation by the side of the railway track. I thought SOS was an apt title for this... a depressing day...

A stinking cold, and sore throat has kept me away for a few days, I've been resting up and trying to get my strength back. I've had this stupid thing for over 4 weeks, and its made me feel **** to be honest.

Today I needed to go get xmassy, and I thought I could achieve that walking through town, it had a small effect.

So thought I'd at least try and slip in an entry for SeeItSunday....let me know if you think it has relevance to the theme "City".

I'm not joking this chap must have been 70, he was hurtling towards me with no balance at all, wobbling from side to side, I thought he was either going to hit a car or land up in the quay, it was not a laughing matter.

Anyway I thought this along with another shot summed up balance for me.

Good on him tho, seriously I hope I'm out skating when I'm his age....what a laugh!!!

She loves going here, its in a play trail in a local forest.

Another shot for the SeeItSunday Entry, along with this one HERE.

This one stays in my head tho as being a nice time, we went to the forest with our cameras, just me and "A", it was a good time. Long may there be good times!!!

Sorry to hear Dave at Chromasia is having a bit of stress at work at the moment, I feel for him, I know how that feels. Anyway Dave, keep your chin up mate....

And "Clare" (wherever you are right now) I will always remember you!, you are never far from my thoughts........11 Years today.
