Ken
Wood has worked at Valderrama for over a year, during which time he
has undertaken general green keeping duties, including irrigation and drainage,
and worked
on the renovation of a new green. He also assisted in the preparation
of the golf course for the World Golf Championships, American Express Championship,
which was held at Valderrama in November 1999.
During
his time here, Ken proved to be a most co¬operative
and reliable employee, capable of making decisions and keen to improve
his knowledge
and skills.
I wish Ken the very best in his future career, and can highly recommend

Ken has a very pleasant and easy going nature, which is ideal for someone working both as a head of a team of workers and for dealing with clients. At no point did he appear anything other than confident, and his manner with the other people who were working on the job were excellent, enabling the job to be done to be completed very swiftly.
I could not recommend Ken more highly for this kind of work, as he is ideally suited both in his skills, knowledge base and temperament. As a gardener myself I understand a lot of the pitfalls inherant to the job. I feel Ken is fully aware of these and adjusts his work accordingly.
