I've been here for 5 years or so now, and I love this part of the country. Its changing tho, even in the short time I've been here I've noticed large corporates moving in on land, Entrepreneurs buying up derelict warehouses, established companies moving out of the area to green field sites to capitalise on the land they once owned, huge buildings being constructed with little regard for their surroundings, again for capital gain. Dont get me wrong I'm not opposed to capitalism, Just when it affects those that it surrounds. This picture shows erosion, which in light of my feelings about things sums it up. I dont know if the tree is still there I may take time this weekend to go see if its still there.... I doubt it, by my reckoning it should have fallen a while back. This was shot with a Coolpix 990 Nikon, a great design concept camera, and a real little workhorse..... As always let me know what you think.... |
